- Green grass (taken up by sponsorship paint - hello TOSTITOS Fiesta Bowl).
- Real national title games in January of 2001 and 2002. Remember that classic Miami vs. Oklahoma battle in 2001 at the Orange Bowl? Oh...right.
- Common sense.

Revelations of 1998: Bill Clinton had something going with Monica, the BCS spoiled college football.
