Quick question on Porn

Two things have been bugging me.
One has to do with porn, the other is high school sports.
And I know, I know, this one won't end well.
    1) When they make porn movies, do they have a B-unit who films from the soft-core porn angle? So that way they can also show it on Cinemax? Or do you think they have different sets of actors for the soft-core and hard-core stuff? And if so, do you think the hard-core porn stars make fun of the soft-core people?
I have this vision of porn actors facing off in a West Side musical combat scene with the hard-core on one side and the soft-core on the other side, but discretely turned so they don't have a full-frontal nudity thing going.

The other is I was reading about this high school baseball team in LA, where all the starters eventually made it into the Major Leagues. Seems like Daryl Strawberry was the team's star. It made me wonder if any high school basketball teams can make the same claim. And also how many pro football players has one high school had on the same roster.
I know you have had high school basketball teams where all the starters have signed D-I scholarships. Those prep schools like Oak Hill and even some public schools. And you probably have some high schools that might have had several pro football players, if you count NFL, Canada and NFL Europe.

And then some wonder why I have insomnia.

I'm not sure about the replies that will follow, but my guess it you should have started two different threads.

Um ... I'll take the second question.

Darryl Strawberry played for Crenshaw High in LA. Chris Brown, who played for the Giants, Padres and (I think) Tigers, was on the team. Three other guys from that team got drafted, but I don't think any others made the majors.

If you're interested, here's an excellent book about the team and whatever happened to the guys on it, although the author hypes the team as the best high school team ever, which got a good laugh out of folks in LA's San Fernando Valley as well as in Florida and Texas:

No, although 21, spup and I did have some other shoe ads one day, including Steve Madden.

Maybe Manolos just don't sink to the google adsense level.

Chris Brown was apparently the biggest pussy to ever take a baseball diamond. Once missed a game due to a strained eyelid.

Those who own Titans RB Chris Brown would probably disagree, of course. :D <----------can afford to laugh since he has Travis Henry

How the hell are we avoiding the porn angle of this thread?

Debra LaFave is an expert on both topics, I think.

    I'll jump on the grenade.

I have a buddy in the adult industry, and we talked about this very topic. At his company in L.A., they don't film soft-core angles while doing the hardcore stuff -- simply because the facial reactions and language used in the xxx scenes are not suitable for anything else.

And, of course, you gotta have the money shot in the hardcore stuff.
