    Bubs --
I'm actually a Packer fan. I hate the Vikings with an unrivaled passion.

Somewhere I read that cotton has replaced peanuts as the cash crop in Suffolk. If someone could make something with all three of Southside Virginia's major crops (cotton, peanuts, tobacco), I'd be impressed. Maybe it's a lost Iron Chef episode.

My hometown (or at least where I was born). Sweet.

Chattanooga was No. 1 on my list, followed by what seemed like every city in the South with more than 50,000 people.

I have family in Morganton, about 20 minutes west on I-40, and Hickory is where you go to have fun. I'm up for a job at the Daily Record there, and I like the town just fine (even if it's not on my top 24), so assuming the pay is okay, I hope I get it.

Let me know what the city is like now. I haven't been to Hickory since I was young, so I don't really remember much about it. Good luck with the job.

Very heavy on Texas and Florida, here. I guess the no-snow thing did it for me.

    Galveston
    Corpus Christi
    Clearwater

    Brownsville
