This website (http://www.findyourspot.com/Default.asp) asks you a bunch of questions and then tells you the cities that best fit your lifestyle. Here are the top 10 cities that have molded themselves in a way that apparently best pleases me. Now if only Cincy had a pro baseball team (I keed, I keed).

    1. Cincy
    2. St. Louis
    3. Omaha
    4. Indianapolis
    5. Sioux Falls, SD
    6. Fargo
    7. Bismarck
    8. Wichita
    9. Evansville, IN
    10. Springfield, Mo.

I will now light myself on fire. I should have known not to play up my love of winters.

    1. Denver
    2. Anchorage (hello, jobs board!)
    3. Minneapolis/St. Paul
    4. Salt Lake City
    5. Flagstaff
    6. Boulder
    7. Duluth
    8. Great Falls, Mt.
    9. Ogden, Utah
    10. Rochester, Minn.

Other highlights: 12. Fargo; 21. Cleveland; 23. Detroit

So my place of birth is 23rd, hometown is 21st. Places I'd never live? 1-21, 22, and 24.

Mine are all smaller communities in the South, with the exception of Walla, Walla, Washington, some place in Indiana, and for some unexplicable reason, Atlantic City. Of the 24, half are in Tennessee.

My top spot is Hot Springs, Ark.

No. 4 is Kankakee, Ill. Ick...Kankakee. I even checked the box that I didn't want to live on flat land.

Apparently, I put somewhere that I absolutely have to have fresh cheese.
Seven of my top 10 were in Wisconsin.

  6. Wow, surprisingly accurate - mentioned a lot of cities I've considered. Strangely though mentioned a lot of smaller cities/towns from my home state, which I'm not particularly interested in living in.

Chesapeake/Virginia Beach, Va was my top choice. Funny, since I used to live there once upon a long time ago.

    2. Norfolk (is there that big a difference?)
    3. Charlotte
    4. Phoenix
    5. Charleston, SC
    6. Tampa (I can dig that!)
    7. Houston (absolutely, especially with family)
    8. Orlando (absolutely)
    9. West Palm Beach (I'm picking up a pattern)
    10. Tucscon

Other cities in my top 24 included Austin and San Antonio, which is where I was born. Jacksonville and Dallas also made my list and I'd move there in a second. Hampton, which again I thought was similar to my top two choices made the list, as did Augusta, which would never let me become a member at their grip it and rip it course. And to echo first time, this site also listed a lot of cities I am or would be quite interested in moving to.

I should apparently move to Shittown, N.C. Who knew?

Nashville was tops for me. Wow.
    Following that were:
    Lexington
    Knoxville
    Cincinnati
    Columbus
    Louisville
    St. Louis
    Kansas City
    Oklahoma City
    Omaha

Not too shabby. Guess I better see if The Tennessean is hiring.

    Here's my Dirty Dozen...
Carlisle, PA. Had to pass through there on the way to college.
    Long Island
    Al Toon-er
    Albany
Seattle (going on vaca there in 2 weeks so I'll keep this list in mind)
Manchester, NH (certainly could handle it)
    Harrisburg (see Carlisle)
    Reading, PA
    Nashua, NH
    Denver
    Portland, ME
    The 'Cuse

Other highlights included the Amish checking in at 13 that would be a sight. Knoxville edging out Lewiston, ME, for 17th. 19 was NYC while 21 was Manhattan, could never live down there. SLC 23rd and Plymouth, NH rounded out the top 24.

No Mass. cities at all and I am the quintessential Masshole.
