We remember the assistant DA that was shot in Kaufman County, Texas in January as he was walking into the courthouse.

It's happened again. The county's main DA and his wife were found shot in their home on Saturday.

Couple these with the Colorado prison director shooting (whose killer was found in Texas), and it sure looks like neo-Nazi gangs have declared war on the justice system. And Texas may be their headquarters.

Always tragic when people turn to Second Amendment solutions to their grievances with the guvment.

It's a shame that there wasn't a good guy with a gun to stop those bad guys.

It's Texas. I thought all the real Americans live in Texas and have guns.

This is horrible. Prosecutors and judges getting gunned down is unfortunately commonplace in so many countries of the world. This is one trend we shouldn't copy.

It's okay to crack jokes because they were white and republican!

The white Republicans are the ones who are supplying us with this material.

There can, and should, be an honest discussion on the issue. But instead, all we get are little catchphrases repeated over and over again, such as "They're taking away your guns!" It's kinda hard to have a discussion when the other side does little more than screaming.

We're mocking what they repeat. Should I have used a "Guns don't kill people," joke?

Please point to when a single Republican on this board suggested that real Americans are from Texas.

When you fail, please consider which side is lowering the level of discourse here.

I seem to recall a great deal of media "concern" whenever "the New Black Panther Party" threatened anybody.

So the Aryan Brotherhood issues public threats and prosecutors actually start turning up dead.

Be interesting to see if the press makes something of it.
