Pro Football Hall of Fame semifinalists

    Blitz, you may know this, but the rules of the Pro Football Hall of Fame specify that no fewer than four people are to be elected each year. So it's not some historical trend you're thinking about here, it's a RULE. The Hall of Fame WANTS to have a lot of players in it. As far as Cooperstown goes, the number of inductees in the 21st century is quite in line with the numbers inducted in previous eras. As far as the Basketball Hall goes, who cares?
