It's not just the best book title of the year, it's also the best book fictional book I've read in ages. It's basically the complete retelling of Jane Austen's classic but Elizabeth and Co. are stalked by zombies.

I read a review copy; it's due out in a week or two. Get it.

I heard the tease for this on NPR, then got distracted and went on to other things. Thanks for the tip/reminder.

Just bought/read this. Two thumbs way, way up.

A book editor started with the concept of taking a public-domain classic and mashing it up with an iconic horror-movie antagonist.

Fantastic. A movie is supposedly on the way; I wonder if they can get Colin Firth to play the zombie killer Mr. Darcy?

The wiki entry for the (other) author says he's under contract for two more books, including "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter."

Maybe the other will be "Sense and Sensibility and Werewolves"
