Nah. He’d have retired by now if he intended to be replaced by the start of the term. I’m guessing he has consulted with McConnell. If Trump appears to have lost, he’ll submit his retirement effective Jan. 19. That way, he can stay on long enough to rule for Trump and protect the klan.
