If I hear this drivel one more time . . .

Nobody knows what really "made us who we are." History is written by the winners. I'd like to hear the losing side(s) tell us what "made us who we are."

If you’re were not African American but relatively educated and come from a family where a mother and father were both involved in raising you, there was some disposable income and you don’t have lingering medical issues, physical, mental or emotional, then America is a pretty good place.
The losers have spoken, loud and clear. “Lock her home” “Send her back” “Our guns, our religion “ The losers from the South who want cheap or free labor, the former coal miners, small farmers, trailer park residents, former enlisted military men who got out without re-enlisting. We are hearing from them everyday. The losers who believe they will get rich someday, somehow. The same delusions their fathers and grandfathers had, but failed. They are all looking for the easy way and someone to blame. Blame the Jews and blacks, now blame the women and immigrants too. 3rd,4th and 5th generation Americans who are more likely to have raised alcoholics and meth addicts than a doctor or lawyer.

The Moustache of Understanding seeks the middle way.

    Another Rockefeller Republican!

Eh. There's not much here but Friedman's conviction that ultra-moderation wins.

Democrats had ultra-moderation in 2016. How did that work out?

Barack Obama was essentially a "moderate republican" from the 1970s, yet the right wing screech machine shrieked for years (and still does) that he was a radical extremist commie pinko libburral SOCILIST!!

Coupled in the wagering with the "Donald Trump is unfit for office" editorial by USA Today - written in 2016 - that's going around Twitter.
