I'd add that he's taught us some of our friends are not who we thought they were.

 

He's taught me that some acquaintances are exactly who I suspected they might be.

It's a tough thing to realize how many people are stupid. And it's hard to blame them for it: It's how they were born and raised. It's an innate attribute, like the colour of their eyes. But holy shit do they make things more challenging sometimes. Human hurdles between here and progress.

 

Under often horrific conditions, in complete disregard for human costs and the environment. Trump is approaching it in his typically idiot way, and for the wrong reasons, but we should all be buying less stuff from China.
