Prep Football Sections

    We do a football tab, and still feature one team per day each week (we cover 7 high schools) during the preseason, and I'm fairly confident those daily features/previews are better sells than the tab.

    I know a number of places in New England and New York that do them.

    We do one. One of our local car dealers buys all of the ad space, plus buys ads in our college football section.

    Here's hoping he's not one of the ones to get eliminated by Chrysler or GM. Glad to see someone is buying.

    What are some of the different things everyone looks to put into a preview? Our paper has traditionally done the basics - team photo, roster and preview story. I was thinking about doing personal Q and A's with a person from each team and a cover story theme.
