This week is the 50th anniversary of the release of Revolver. IMO, the best Beatles album ever (Rubber Soul close second). So I'm listening to that, and hoping the music fans here will debate my assertion.

    Bob Schneider -- Moon Song

    Just a fun, mellow song.

There isn't much debate about it, MG. The Beatles were absolutely at their peak in 1965-66. And of course, some of their best songs (Paperback Writer, Rain, Day Tripper, etc.) didn't even get on an album. The boys and their managers thought adding hit singles to subsequent albums was a rip off to fans.

Obviously, music business attitudes about singles have changed a bit in 50 years ...

I have been directly accused around here of being a 'sociopath', but I am still just a dude who sings Steve Perry's Foolish Heart to his baby when it makes dirty in its pants.
