Another reason I hate the government and paying taxes to decrepit, neanderthal programs:

I called today about my report. Its not ready yet, but when it is, I have to mail in a request (along with $10). Then wait as they mail me the report.

Imagine, in 2006, in the age of emails, pdf, hell even faxes (1980's technology) I have to mail in a request and wait to get it mailed to me.

Yeah, lets let the government handle our problems.

    Poll's closed.

Okay, I know you've been dying to find out. :)

I just got the police report, and the report says my friend Jose does not have insurance. I called him, and Jose still claims he does have insurance and will get back to me with the information.

    I'm not holding my breath.

Good thing stricter border enforcement isn't needed, huh? Of course if you keep pressing, Jose's name will suddenly change to Miguel or Paco.

I thought Cali was a no-fault insurance state.

    I think that's no-fault divorce.

    Si, Si Puede!

Mr. Jose came thru big time. Although he didn't have proof of insurance at the scene, and didn't have it when I talked to him yesterday, he called today with the policy info, I talked to the insurance guy, and they are coming out for an inspection next week.

    Viva la Mexico!!
