We're being browsed by Papa Shango ... or maybe the Ultimate Warrior.

    Just a guess.

It's nice to see that 20 people from Ghana were tuning in for the Paris Hilton thread (or so I assume).

Michigan today ... Missouri in a couple weeks. My first out-of-state move.

Suggestions, anyone? PM me your packing tips or, more importantly, your life-in-Mo. tips. Thanks in advance... :)

    Depends on where in MO.
If St. Louis, Super Smokers BBQ.
    Must have.

I'd PM spup for life-in-Mo. tips. I think she grew up there.

As for packing tips, use more than one piece of newsprint to wrap each glass item, and everything will get to Missouri in one piece. Also, line the bottoms of your boxes and leave room at the top for additional paper to cushion dishes, etc.

For as populous as California is, it is not well represented on SportsJournalists.com I notice.

One of six (so far) from Pennsylvania.

Would have also answered Virginia, North Carolina or the District of Columbia at different points in my career.

Where am I? I'm waiting for you to get off the frickin' computer!

Born and raised in North Vancouver (Lynn Valley, specifically), lived in Victoria for 4 years, Montreal for 4 years and Toronto for the last 14 (Mimico for the last 7 of those).

Bring plenty of Better Made's. Even tho you can buy them on line, you want them at hand. You will find vernors there, but stock up on Kowalski hot dogs. Natural Casing dogs are rare. Sander's hot fudge, buy by the boatload; same with dried cherries.
Introduce the natives to your foods and they will clue you in on theres.
If you think you'd miss it, but a bunch to bring with you; even things like spread cheese.
Am headed back this week and you have no idea the food I am planning to ship back.

One thing I found very important is get appendicitis before you move. I did that when I moved and you have no idea how nice everyone is, not only moving, but packing your shtuff....
And for all your Canadian needs, make a border run. Now. I, myself am still waiting for a Mimico care package of McIntosh Toffee and Coffee Crisp....
