    This worked out the way it should. Richt did a mea culpa, Slive says don't let it happen again, and off we go.

    Now, if we get copycats, the spring meeting might get a bit interesting....

    The feeling's mutual. UF putting it on them in that game was no accident.

    The problem with this kind of thinking...

    is that Bowden's right, no one expected it. And if even one UF player thinks a fight is happening and starts swinging it turns into Miami-FIU part two, only with one of the coaches having gleefully encouraged it this time. Somehow I doubt anyone would think this was all so cute and clever then. Richt got very lucky here that none of the UF kids reacted the wrong way.

    Surely you're not suggesting that the Gators would run the score up on someone. After listening to the UF fan base explode in righteous indignation over Mark Richt's supposed lack of class, I can't imagine they'd be such ... what's that word ... oh yeah, hypocrites. ::)

    It'll be pretty rare when the opportunity presents itself, but they'll be paying for Spurrier's sins for decades. Fargin bastages.
