    from a cop after a traffic stop: "Driver not UI, just born a very long time ago."

    my favorite was from my first gig where I was the only one in the newsroom fairly early on a Sunday morning at heard on the scanner a cop mention that he was stopping at a donut shop and for the next five minutes, other cops would come over the radio putting in their orders.
