TUSCUMBIA, Alabama -- A former Sheffield Junior High School teacher accused of having sex with a teenage student was convicted of rape and sodomy Thursday, The Times' news partner WHNT News 19 reports.

Amanda Watkins faces up to 40 years in prison after the conviction by a Colbert County jury.

Watkins, 39, was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old in the back seat of her car on Dec. 19, 2009. She was fired in January 2010 and did not appeal the firing, according to the newspaper.

 

Just sayin...she's kinda cute if I'm an 8th grader looking to score.

 

She's not going to attract too many teens after she let herself go.

 

I wonder is she preggers?
