    Tornadoes and severe weather in April in the South go together like peas and carrots. Not exactly unheard of to have bad storms here this time of year.

    They declared a weather electrical emergency today.

    IN APRIL, when everyone's electricity bills are the lowest all year.

    I do not like cold snaps in April. We’ve got a chance for a freeze early next week. My tomatoes and peppers don’t need that.

    Tuesday I had the AC on in my truck.
    This morning it was the defroster.

    Gonna snow here today. Nothing serious, but snow-covered daffodils and forsythia are particularly depressing sights.

    But it’s important to build the giant block of ice, known as “snowpack,” so that there will still might be a trickle of water in creek beds near the end of the summer drought.

    It’s weather hell with a scenic backdrop.
