Jerry Jones. I thought he was a great owner.

For me, definitely Bill Belichick and the Patriots. Didn't understand the big dispute between the Jets and Pats over a guy who didn't do very well in Cleveland, and definitely didn't see why anybody would actually give up draft picks for him. So much for that notion.

Also, I thought Mo Vaughn would be a huge success for the Angels.

I thought Auburn made a big mistake not hiring Turner Gill. [/SirCharles]

I did think Conley was going to be better than he is, though.

The folks at Liberty can't be very happy about him being married to a white lady.

Think that's more a Bob Jones thing.

Derrick Rose - Didn't think he was that good at Memphis
Arian Foster - Looked like just another tailback
Darren McFadden - Jury is still out if he can stay healthy long enough

He's really only had one good season so far, but I thought Josh Freeman was a complete waste of a draft pick and would never start more than a handful of NFL games. They guy was never even in the top half of Big 12 QB's when he was in college, but has been a much, much better pro than I ever would have guessed.

Charles Woodson after he signed with the Packers in 2006. He was coming off a broken leg and I thought he was into the downside of his career.

Who are all you people who were wrong about Tim Couch? You SERIOUSLY watched that Kentucky offense, where 95 percent of his throws were for less than 8 yards, then broken by receivers, and thought "This is a good NFL QB?"

    SERIOUSLY?

Didn't he have a pretty good season in leading the Browns to the playoffs before hurting his shoulder? I remember him getting to the Packers and he simply couldn't throw, but he was much better before the shoulder injury, wasn't he?
