Pittsburgh Tribune-Review ASE

    He's joking, but the pay scale at the Trib is pathetic for a metro. Entry-level desk job there is probably in the low-to-mid 20s. Entry-level reporter might be a tad higher.

    Not sure what this one would pay, though.

    I believe they just finished interviews.

    They did. I spoke with someone involved in the hiring process today and they said the interviewing process is over and they are close to hire.

    Strange. I recently saw a copy of the paper and Villa's name was not there (maybe he hasn't started yet?)

    I also heard they promoted Joe Rutter to ASE.

    The website still shows Orfanopoulos as Deputy SE and Rutter as a reporter.

    Anybody know what the deal is?
