    This story is disgusting.
The mother should be covered in meat and thrown in a room full of rabid dogs.

The 22-year-old San Diego mother of a baby boy who was bitten in the groin by a pit bull in Murrieta (CA) over the weekend has temporarily lost custody of the infant and could potentially face criminal neglect charges, a Murrieta police sergeant said today.
Carrie McKinney was at her boyfriend's home at 26301 Arboretum Way shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday when she placed the 7-month-old boy, who was strapped in a car seat, on the floor, according to Murrieta police Sgt. James Ganley.
She was heading upstairs with her boyfriend when she heard the baby crying and went to check, seeing the boy's diaper in the mouth of one of her boyfriend's dogs, police said.
A pit bull and a pit bull mix were in the home at the time, police said.
The baby had been bitten in the groin area and was taken first to a hospital, then to Loma Linda University Medical Center for surgery, Ganley said.
The boy lost his testicles, the sergeant said.
The dogs were turned over to animal control and Child Protective Services was called, Ganley said.
"The officer filing the report will submit the investigation to the D.A.'s office as a child neglect, the D.A. will review the case and determine if charges ... are warranted or if CPS can handle the case," Ganley told City News Service.
Child Protective Services workers took the baby from the mother, Ganley said.
"CPS will also conduct an investigation," he said.

You have to pass a test in order to drive legally, but anybody with a pulse can bring a baby into the world and be entrusted to protect that fragile life.

There are just some people out there who are either too dumb or too dependent on drugs and/or alcohol to function as mothers and fathers.

What can you do until it's too late for an innocent?

An unending source of frustration to anyone who's ever worked in the foster care system.
