    Anyone can name Jessie's Girl, but can you name Rick Springfield's other hit song, which went to No. 2 on the charts?

    "Don't Talk to Strangers" still makes my CD mixes on occasion.

    Jack Wagner can claim getting to kiss Kristina Malandro for several years. That's gotta count for something.

    States without Springfields (according to Google maps):
    Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico,
    North Dakota, Rhode Island, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.
     
  12. Slightly off topic, but in the early 1990s, the city I grew up in decided it needed to build a new elementary school. So, the school board thought, why not let the kids choose the name of the new school? That's how Greenwood, S.C., ended up with a Springfield Elementary School (despite the best efforts of a "concerned" group of parents).
