This is the perfect audience for this CD:

It's acoustic versions of your favorite '80s songs. And some of them are newly recorded for this CD. Here's the lineup. It's the '27 Yankees of '80s music as heard on your weekend '80s music station:

    Rick Springfield/Jessie's Girl (new recording)
Colin Hay of Men at Work/Down Under
    The Outfield/Your Love (B-side)
    Berlin/The Metro (ITunes exclusive version)
Howard Jones/No One Is To Blame (live Acoustic America recording)
Billy Idol/Rebel Yell (KROQ Acoustic X-mas)
The Motels/Only The Lonely (new recording)
    Tommy Tutone/867-5309 (new recording)
    John Waite/Missing You
    Heart/These Dreams
Thomas Dolby/She Blinded Me With Science (new recording)
    Naked Eyes/Promises, Promises (new recording)
Asia/Heat of the Moment (from Steve Hackett Tokyo Tapes)
Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Gos/Our Lips Are Sealed (new recording)
Billy Squier/The Stroke (version from Happy Blue)

Here's a couple sites with some of the songs:

I like new music as much as anyone, but can revel in the '80s every once in awhile. This serves both purposes, as it really does all sound new while sounding familiar at the same time.

With a name like "80s Hits Stripped" I was expecting a cavalcade of songs that certain professional females (and some males) use for background sounds on their entertainment platform.

I'm surprised this had nothing to do with Butch Walker.
