The Rockies will win the National League.

Of course, this is coming from a guy who said the Mets would win the East by four games two weeks ago.

Can't wait to see the Giambino point to the flagpole at Wrigley.

I really think the Cubs are in the best position to take this, but I have a hunch Dempster is going to have a huge flame-out at a very inopportune moment.

So, after last night, I'm jumping on destiny's bandwagon. Wins in 14 of their last 15, a 3 run rally in their last at bat, I'm going Rockies. The pitching is a big question mark, but I think the bats will lead the way and they will also capitalize on games in Colorado.

Does Sweet Lou get voted Manager of the Year?

Not with Bob Melvin in the other corner he doesn't.

Piniella did a helluva job pushing a bunch of underachieving, overpaid players to get their shit together. But Melvin wins this award going away.

I'd go with Melvin, or maybe Clint Hurdle. 90 and 89 wins respectively from the two teams that were supposed to finish fourth and fifth in the NL West.

But Sweet Lou is Sweet Lou. Isn't this the 3rd team he's taken to the playoffs?
