    I saw the strike-three call on the live look-in. Looked like he went to me, but I know this will be debated from here to whenever. Brian Runge was the home plate ump... he's not one of the notoriously bad ones, IMHO.

    There is no way for me to be impartial about this, but I think if it's close you have to ring him up there, with visions of Jim Joyce dancing in your head.

    Brendan Ryan, by the way, might be my new favorite player. You have to be a hardass MFing competitor to flip out after being rung up in that situation.

    I'd make the chance better than "might". Absolutely correct, IMO.
