Browns also re-signed Derek Anderson, and the Panthers traded often-injured Kris Jenkins to the Jets.

Why do I think Samuel will be a bust?

Because the last big name free agent the Eagles signed was Kearse and he had one good year for them.

Samuel's good, but he does have the propensity to get beat every now and then.

The Eagles are also close to signing Clemons.

IF Jenkins stays healthy, the Jets stole him. A big upgrade over Dwayne Robertson ...

The Panthers needed to address defensive line concerns before dealing Jenkins. Perhaps check into Rod Coleman, who was part of the massive purge in Atlanta.

He's over the hill. He gave up football in college prior to meeting Bruce and joining the E Street Band.

To tell you the truth, Samuel was fantastic two years ago but very mediocre last season.

  10. Who's job is he going to take? Lito or Sheldon? Lito had a great year this year and Sheldon was spectacular last year.

I like Samuel, but unless he's playing wide receiver, this isn't great news.

I wonder what the Cowboys were thinking when they signed an old, slow, concussed, washed-up Zach Thomas. He won't make it out of Oxnard with a job.

Samuel will do fine with Dawkins behind him. He's a ball hawk. They are going to have really good days and really bad ones.
