    I would say that photography and copy editing are part of editorial (not to nitpick ..........).

    I have to envision more combining of beats to serve both papers. Maybe the Daily News keeps it own columnists and share beat guys with the Inquirer.

    At many places yes. In Philadelphia? No.
    Daily News is strong in beat writing the Sixers and only because he's been on it a year longer, in baseball.
    The only DN columnist who could generate excitement on the Inky staff is probably Hoffman.
