Has the NASCAR invocation been presented by any Imams or Rabbis to anyone's knowledge?

Meh. Robertson started the company that sponsored the race, everyone knows he's a redneck, and this isn't close to the first time he's worn his religion on his sleeve. In fact, the show was in jeopardy at one point because of the religious overtones. Nothing at all surprising here.

Shifting attention to the actual race for a minute ... did it rain in Texas earlier? Obviously a late start or long delay, and this feels like the longest damn race I've ever seen. Going on midnight local time and they still have about 40 laps left.

    Yes. 1:50 delay for rain.

I liked it better when he just made duck calls. Quality has slipped since the family got famous.

Do you understand that the problem isn't that he wore his religion on his sleeve?

What is the problem? Guy made a political statement. BFD.
