Phelps mad at Dan Le Batard

Le Batard comes off sounding like an idiot with this interview.

 

The line forms to the left.

 

Le Batard... flaming moron.

But, Phelps is the ass there.

 

Redundant.

 

Le Batard wanted to drag him into some talk about his personal life.
Maybe he wanted to to be the first, or latest, media-type to expose Phelps' potential party-side
Whatever it was, he was invading privacy.
I think Phelps did the right thing. Too many media types think they are buddy with their subjects and have a license to talk about whatever.
Good for Phelps, here, I say.

 

How is Phelps the ass? He handled himself professionally.

 

He's boring as fuck, and Le Batard was just trying to get a little something fun out of him.

It's not like he asked how many swimmers take it up the rear....

 

There is a way to get that information out of an interview subject and insulting him and putting him on the defensive is not how it is done.

 

He represented our country very well. Give the guy a break. If you want to interview him, interview him. If you want to talk about getting hunnies and drinking beer go to a frat party.

 

Le Batard comes off as an ass here.

In other news, Clay Aiken is gay.

 

LeBastard takes an easy shot at a guy who can't do anything for him in the future. Danny certainly doesn't take that route with players who he needs for a quote or an interview in the future. Mostly he calls up their ass to smooth out their hemorrhoids.
