I had grown tired of Skip Caray, but Van Wieren is awesome. Braves broadcasts will never be the same without him.

I get the feeling Skip's passing had something to do with this.

Always did a tremendous job, and I'm sure will be breatly missed next season.

So now it's All Chip, All The Time?

Sucks to be a Braves fan.

What a true pro. Hope he has many good years away from the ballpark.

Thank God TBS doesn't air Braves games anymore.

Always enjoyed listening to Skip and Pete in the booth. Those two were amazing together.

Who gets the BBQ stand in left right field?

Chip's duties on TBS keep him from broadcasting on the weekends, so there will definitely be some new blood next year, and some huge shoes to fill.

The BBQ stand is terrible, but not as overpriced as some ballpark food.

Horrible season, Skip Caray's death, now this.

    I give up on baseball.

Approximately 95 games after the Braves did the same.

Actually, I probably did around the same time, too. Whenever it was that all the high school/college football preview mags started coming out.

I was really pissed then it stopped running Braves games. I haven't lived in the Mets' market since 2005, and that was 15-19 games I could count on watching.

I'm sure it's about 99 percent to do with Skip's passing.

Skip & Pete's is fine for what it is, stadium BBQ. The prices are about the same as any other ballpark food, so if I can get some BBQ for the same price as a burger or pizza, I usually stop by for a half rack.
