He did it. A-Rod sends his congratulations.

Wow. Not a fan, but you can't root against the perfect game.

Got chills as the final out was made.

Derek Jeter is laughing his ass off right now.

And the announcers just mentioned the Yankees and A-Rod.

Very cool moment with him and his grandmother. And, yeah, you don't root against a perfect game.

He'll give the same answer he gave Friday.

Great performance. Wonder if he's still gonna throw at A-Rod when the Yanks are in Oakland next month.

This is part of why baeball's the best game.

On any given day, there's a chance to see something special.

    I'm glad he wasn't.

And, apparently, so are those who believe in baseball's "unwritten rules."

He might have overreacted, but he wasn't wrong when he yelled at A-Rod.

    Congratulations to Dallas Braden.

I know guys who have covered baseball for more than 30 years and never heard of the crossing the mound "unwritten rule" bullshit.

And Braden not only overreacted, he made a ppint to keep the idiocy going by saying -- two weeks after the fact -- that something might have to happen when they play the Yankees again

Perhaps because they hadn't seen any player actually do it?

Braden shouldn't have reacted the way he did, and he certainly shouldn't have said any more after the fact. But let's not act like A-Rod was Mr. Class by doing that.
