I'm watching College Football Gameday and thinking how good Chris Fowler has always been. Good guy too...

Bob Ley would be atop the list as well.

I don't mind watching T.J. Quinn, who sometimes fills in for Ley on "Outside the Lines."

I like Brian Kenny. He seems to really enjoy what he's doing. He revels in sports arguments and has fun with the people he's talking to.

What is an ESPN thread doing on the journalism topics board?

Another broadcaster chiming in... but I must confess I hardly watch ESPN or SportsCenter much anymore.

    The likes:
    - Hannah Storm
    - Kevin Negandhi
    - Neil Everett
    - Bob Ley and Kelly Naqi (sp?) are outstanding on OTL.

For the reporters, I like Sal Palantonio, Mort, I'm starting to come around on Adam Schefter (although I think he tries to be confrontational when asked a question by the anchors or radio hosts).

Refuse to pile on here by being specific, but have seen a couple of the people named horribly-misuse certain words in print.

Have been glad to see I haven't seen either of them repeat their errors.

I'd like Van Pelt a lot more if he wasn't referred to as "SVP."

Kenny Mayne is sharp but seems to have been marginalized into a clown role by ESPN, except when he's on horse racing.

I just think SVP is hilarious. And I adore him.

    Van Pelt

    Chris Fowler

Trey Wingo (much better with NFL than Berman. They should let Wingo do the NFL Draft the entire time)

    Bob Ley

    Tom Rinaldi
