    More about his investment in Arbusto here. He's been wanted by the FBI for 15 years for his role in the BCCI scandal, and his company has a DoD contract paying $80 million. Nice. (And W himself has interesting connections to BCCI.)

    No, I'm pretty sure Bush will be out of office by then. And McCain may have as much military bluster as Bush, but I doubt he's as corrupt.

    Would staging a late October attack on Iran and then declaring the threat of a retaliatory attack so great that for the safety of all Americans he's postponing the elections indefinitely be the same thing?

    Once upon a time -- and retrospect suggests it was a fairy tale, I admit -- I defended Bush. I haven't been able to bring myself to do it for some time now. How's that for a response?
