    The NHL is fixed.

    The first outdoor game in America, on a major US netowrk, goes to OT, then a shootout, and Crosby wins it with the game's final shot.

    Please.

    Overtime and a shootout. I guess if you're going to get 72,000 to watch a hockey game, give them their money's worth. And thank God I get the CBC. Too bad they got outbid for the Olympics.

    Did the Sabres and Pens do a postgame handshake?

    I know it's just a playoff tradition, but for something like this it would have been a good touch.

    Did you see a Michael Jordan playoff game from 1991 to 1998? Nothing was more fixed than those games.

    Actually, I'm told that the changing of sides in the third period is regulation under the IIHF, from the days when Olympic games were played on outdoor rinks.
