Part-time help — Philadelphia

    Hi,

    I am looking for a part-timer to work a 4-10 p.m. Sunday desk shift during the upcoming NFL season. This person will be responsible for design and layout of a 3-4 sports section, as well as editing copy and writing briefs on deadline.

    Candidates must be proficient in Quark Xpress and possess the appropriate journalism background. Photoshop experience is very helpful, but not necessary. There will also be opportunities for part-time work throughout the year on various dates. Pay is commensurate with experience, but expect a competitive hourly rate.

    THIS IS NOT A WRITING POSITION.
    However, there are opportunities for freelance reporting, depending on talent/experience.
