The General Editor, Page 2, will plan, coordinate, edit and publish content for ESPN.com’s Page 2, a subsection of ESPN.com focusing on hard-hitting opinion columns; unique, smart takes on stories; and the humor and lighter side of sports. The general editor will also write occasional commentary and humor pieces and create regular features for the section. Duties will include, but not be limited to: Help manage Page 2’s staff of writers and freelance contributors; Edit stories on deadline for Page 2 and publish them to the web, using ESPN.com’s Content Editor tool; Work with writers, contributors, staff artists and other Page 2 editors and ESPN.com departments to plan story assignments and longterm projects; Contribute columns for Page 2 publication; Write all headlines, subheads and story teasers for the Page 2 index. Assign story placement on the index page. Plan the day’s placement of stories; Using our photo wires from the Associated Press, Getty Images and WireImage, find and work up photos in Photoshop for Page 2 use.

You get to edit Scoop Jackson, Bill Simmons, Jason Whitlock and Skip Bayless! That's a dream job for a lot of the folks on this board!
