INDIANAPOLIS Oct 6, 2006 (AP)— Stephen Jackson of the Indiana Pacers was struck by a car and fired his gun outside a strip club early Friday, police said.

Jackson told officers he was slugged in the jaw when he went outside the club, was struck by a car and fired his 9 mm pistol in self-defense, Sgt. Matthew Mount told television station WTHR.

There were no reports of anyone being struck by the gunfire, and police did not make any immediate arrests.

The Indianapolis Star reported on its Web site that teammates Jamaal Tinsley and Marquis Daniels were also at the scene and had pistols in their cars. All three of the players had permits for the weapons.

Those Pacers...what quality human beings they are.

I wonder if this'll be the final straw in Indy for Jackson, a poster boy for the modern-day, moron NBA player.

In keeping with his 41% career field goal shooting, no one was hit.

The NBA, You Know You Want It, Bitch.

Lonny Baxter would like to invite Jackson to join him on a tour of the White House.

Photog: So, what do you guys think?
    S. Jackson: You can't see my grills. Do it again.
    J. O'Neal: That will work (rolling eyes, trying to avoid conflict).
    A. Harrington: (Whispers to Jackson) Yo, Steve, does this mo'fo get a beatdown or do we just cap his ass?

  10. That's a class-A lede right there, though.
