    Not at any paper I've worked before. I'd rather take a butter knife to my balls. But I understand the sentiment.

    If you're a boss of someone like that, you could always do what I read once in Reader's Digest. If someone calls you about being a reference for her, you could say, "she put me as a reference? That was a mistake."

    Needless to say, the person who put that guy down did not get the job...
