I'm more curious about the rise of caesarian sections because of "convenience." How is a C-section more "convenient" than a natural birth?

    Any help? Ladies?

Um, you don't have to sit in labor for 12 hours?

Yeah, and it keeps things tight, as Dye alluded to.

Yeah, I'd considered that part of it before I posted.

Let's see . . . shortened labor, you know exactly when the little fuck trophy is gonna show up, the, um, tightness issue.

Negatives: natural birth helps baby with its first breaths, keeps ab muscles intact, thereby allowing you to have a decent tummy without a tummy tuck (so says my sister, but she does water births with a midwife. strange woman).

Any further questions should be answered by somebody with a medical degree or who's given birth.

These responses (sans sportschick's) should be nominated as Chauvinistic Posts of the Year.

I was honestly asking. Of course, once the reasons were given, I quickly realized my temporary ignorance.

I could post something terrible feminist chauvinistic about Jake Plummer if I can join the club too.

Not you, gd, referring specifically to my, um, coarseness.

And, SC, you're always welcome in our club.
