Other than Michael Jordan, who is the best NBA player since 1990?

I've heard that Kobe was pretty forceful in telling the Nets he wouldn't play for them if New Jersey drafted him.

The answer is Duncan, along with Shaq.

And LeBron is no better or worse of a player because of last week's fiasco.

For his sake, I hope it's his "check yourself" moment, as well as the moment he tells 98% of his posse to get fucking lost.

Steve Nash? I know he hasn't won any titles, but he's got two MVP awards to Kobe's one. Or Garnett? Or Karl Malone? Just more suggestions to keep the conversation going ....

If we're talking about just since 1990, Scottie Pippen also has six rings.

But if I had to vote for one, probably Kobe.

I vaguely recall events leading up to Bradley being drafted by the 76ers.

Doug Moe's ill-fated, shortened-season as head coach. Then, didn't Maddog take over the bench and they took Bradley in the next draft?

Great line from Bob Ford: "Moe is not much of a company man, but the Sixers are not much of a company."

As for the subject at hand, I'll take Bryant followed by Duncan.

Bradley had one of the great derisive nicknames of all time: "The Great White Nope."

Not as good as "Joe Barely Cares" (Joe Barry Carroll) but pretty close.

I wonder how many millions in endorsements Kobe's little romp cost him. He is not nearly as marketable as you would expect a player of his stature to be.

Isn't his jersey No. 1 in sales? And I think this season was the second straight he was No. 1, but don't quote me.

How many rings does Robert Horry have?
