Opening in Killeen, TX

    Actually, a copy editor decided to go back to school and that is open now. I am going in the direction of a sports reporter now because of that. The reporter position isn't posted because I received so many from here and am still sorting through that.

    I will second that, although the "next level" has gotten mighty hard to crack lately. Nick does a good job in Killeen.

    I am late to this party and can not speak to the conditions at the paper as a whole. But I spent 40 years in the business, with papers in Texas and Detroit, and I have had some personal experience with Nick. If I was 50 years younger, I would apply for the job just because he is the SE.

    If I was 50 years younger, I'd be hoping Nick supplies half my DNA and is my daddy.
