    The lede got me:

I know it is sad. Someone killed, others injured, the bear shot and killed. But the story made me chuckle for some reason. An ice-skating bear. Goes berserk and mauls his trainer. And it happens in a voweless place.

The good news is that the bear has an NHL tryout next week.

    or

A bear can only wear spangles for so long before snapping.

The second comment was, "They're better than the Rangers."

For some reason I keep thinking that Sean Avery must have been involved.

That bear worked just as hard as the other Sigfried and Roy's crazy tiger.

When I was ten or eleven I actually wrote a children's picture book about an ice skating bear.

And to paraphrase Chris Rock, that bear didn't go berserk. That bear went bear!
