Online masters programs

I'm seriously considering getting a masters degree, but being a sports writer doesn't provide a ton of flexibility. The only possible way would be to do it online.

Two questions for those who have done it or researched it:

Is it possible to take online masters classes while covering a pro beat that includes a ton of travel?

Which schools have the best online masters programs? I liked what I saw from Missouri, but want to keep my options open.

Drexel University has some good degree offerings.
It depends on what you are looking to earn.

The University of Phoenix has become somewhat of a benchmark institution with regard to credibility in the field, once you are displaying the certificate in the job market/real world.

Programs tied to visible universities are all going to be costly, but all of these pre-existing schools are now offering online degree programs.
