One-year tier of worst booth ever continues collapse

That would be Kornheiser, who is now blathering about the Colts listing more than a dozen players as questionable on their injury report in some sort of plot to stick it to Bill Belichick.

The Colts have been doing this all year. Maybe not with as many players, but it's been happening.

How someone can be a fantasy owner moonlighting as an announcer and not know this is somewhat astonishing.

    You're right that it's been a year-long thing but I think it's been a year-long dig at Belichick.

Has Tom Brady been off the injury report once the last three years?

Kornheiser is worse than Dennis Miller, and I didn't think that was possible.

He's unspeakably bad. He exhibits no sense of rhythm in presenting comments.

As a result, they constantly lob him softballs, which he whiffs on more often than not.

Yeah, and he's not even bad in an entertaining way, y'know? It's just a train wreck you want to avert your eyes and ears from.

For the love of God, I know that there must be some Bristol readers of SportsJournalists.com......please, please, please, use the Nessler/Jaws/Vermeil booth as the main MNF team. You'll never recreate Gifford/Cosell/Meredith, but N/J/V is as good of a booth, both for hardcore and casual fans, as you will ever find

Second that. We need to start a Web site and start a movement, because Monday nights with this crew simply isn't easy on the ears.

I am this close to buying a Sirius receive due to this issue. The Nessler/Jaws/Vermeil/Bernstein grouping on the second half of the opening twinbill was the best MNF TV team since ... since ... wait. How long has it been since Gifford, Michaels and Dierdorf were the MNF team? '97? That long.

It's not quite as painful as trying to listen to Michael Waltrip do analysis on races, but it's close.

Please, Dierdorf sucked on MNF too. He's become somewhat tolerable on CBS. He was terrible on Mondays though.

Consider Mr. Dierdorf vs. the current ex-NFL player in the MNF booth.

Anything with Bonnie Bernstein is gold.

Seriously, that four-person MNF suggestion is better than the current five-person setup.
