    If you can get CityTV (a station out of Toronto), it's playing one of the best sports movies of all time right now: Slapshot.

    I was going to say THE best. But I feared out American friends and acquaintances on this board would cry foul.

    I think Bull Durham is up there near the top, too.

    But damn, Slapshot is great.

    What's the story with that dog?


    Actually I took a trip to see the Chiefs play in Johnstown a few years back with some old co-workers. It was a total blast getting shitfaced, watching a game at the still existent War Memorial, and going around the town and seeing all the stuff that's still there. Love that movie.
