Shannon Terry’s new venture beginning to be revealed: On3.

First big move announced, hiring Ivan Maisel.

“On3 will focus on recruiting. We intend to mine data to bring insight to recruiting, to define and explain the creation of student-athlete name, image and likeness rights, and, of course, to better explain the play on the field, too.”

 

I've heard of one of those two people.

On3 sounds like it might be prone to a false start ......

 

On3 has been bubbling for a few months and they've been working behind the scenes to really make some big hires. Going to be fascinating to see how this venture fares. I don't know Shannon at all but he has been wildly successful at reinventing CFB coverage at every stop.

Edit: Looks like they'll launch on Aug. 15.
