    Swimming: Men's 400 freestyle.... defending champ Park Taehwan of Korea disqualified in prelims for false start. Couldn't detect it on replays.

    UPDATE: Park reinstated on appeal. Interesting.

    Eh, that's pretty normal for prelims not involving the host country or a neighboring country. Those are pretty large stadiums.

    Keep in mind that the US game is being played in Scotland and the Canada-South Africa game is being played in Coventry, which is a couple of hours from London.

    Two Italian women going at it in the foil semifinals. Only time I watch fencing is during the Olympics, but it's a must-see event.

    Brits hate women's soccer. Sexism in athletics is very blatant there.
