This was my favorite line from oberdork:

"On April 6th 2003 I was approached by two drunken young men at a baseball game. One of them started to ask for an autograph. The other stopped him by shouting “Screw him, he’s a liberal.”

Just this year at Yankee Old Timers day Oblerman was roundly booed when introduced at Old Timers day announcer.

Still waiting for you to produce any post I've made in that regard. So far, you've ducked it. I'd call that pretty gutless.

Except for the politics talk, this is a great thread. :)

Amen. Everyone is not going to get what they want out of this health care bill. Plain and simple.

    Given that the prevailing
mosiac of the legislation is designed to fellate the uninsured, while screwing the Boomers . . . well, the Boomers are far more diligent in their voting habits than are the uninsured, as the Dems will discover.

    "fellate the uninsured"

This country so lacks compassion from its "haves"... it's just disgusting.

Gosh, the Congress produced a mishmash compromise bill on a big issue?!? That's gotta be a first.

They're trying to screw the boomers on Medicare to pay for that. Uh, uh.

What great week for the country. Between the agreement on gllobal warming and now health care reform Obama has done a lifetime of work in 3 days. Good thing he left Copenhagen when he did. Otherwise he would not have been able to get back to DC to nail down final votes needed for health care bill.
