OK, I'm a movie guy, but ...

    ... I got Dr. Strangelove from Netflix today (Thanks, UT Shooter!) and I thought it pretty lackluster.

    Am I missing something there? Maybe I expected too much? Dunno.

    It's a little dated, but I love the black comedy of it. And Peter Sellers, in all his roles in it, is gold. Maybe it's an acquired taste, or maybe I just like weird shit.

    loved that movie. Peter Sellers was, indeed, gold, but nobody beat Sterling Hayden as General Jack D. Ripper.

    It's entirely possible you expected too much, but damn, I thought it was pretty good and didn't see it until about five years ago.
