I remember getting Arby's coupons for a free sandwich that expired the night they were given to us.

The funniest part of it was, someone outed them about it on Facebook. Nothing like social media embarrassment!!! They later sent out a newspaper-wide e-mail apologizing and insisting that the gift cards weren't expired.

That's the coldest of shit. It would've been colder if the coupons hadn't expired.

I should've said this in the first place, and I'm sure many of you have similar sentiments and circumstances, but my Christmas bonus is unspeakably invaluable, the fact that my baby sister is kicking cancer's ass. That's my bonus. What could be better?

And I'm delighted to hear that, as are many others here, I'm sure. But the point of the thread was asking what sort of bonus was being provided by employers.

May your sister continue to make plenty of progress in 2012.

    I got a rock.

Wait, that was my Halloween bonus.

That Christmas karaoke never caught on has always befuddled me. Every bar in the country should have a Christmas karaoke night during November or December.

As a guy who loves holiday music, I find that idea ---- awful!

Maybe next year you'll find out what the Plain Dealer offers.

If you are, indeed, good enough.

    That's what keeps me going.
